Alkagesta reported record revenue of $3.5 billion for the first half of 2026, with trading volumes increasing 53% year on year to 4.9 million metric tonnes, according to Alkagesta Newsroom. The company’s account of its results and accompanying media coverage also outlined expansion into crude oil and aviation fuel, alongside further growth at its Singapore hub.

The period included Alkagesta’s first crude oil transactions, with approximately 1.07 million barrels delivered to the Far East through an end-to-end operation. The company also entered the aviation fuel market through the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System. Alkagesta Newsroom identified both developments as key commercial steps highlighted in coverage of the first-half performance.

Operations at the Singapore hub reached approximately 250,000 metric tonnes a month, the newsroom said. Its summary noted that Fintech News Singapore focused particularly on the hub’s expanding role within Alkagesta’s international trading network and the company’s increasing presence in Asian marine and energy markets. Singapore’s growth was also among the developments referenced across the wider coverage.

On storage, a multi-year agreement for biofuels at Pantank in Antwerp brought Alkagesta’s total capacity across Europe and Asia to 700,000 cubic metres, according to the source. The company expects full-year 2026 trading volumes to exceed 10 million metric tonnes. Its management team holds a 35% equity stake and has expressed an intention to raise that holding further.

Chief executive Orkhan Rustamov attributed the performance to a disciplined approach to expansion despite substantial volatility in global commodity markets. In remarks reproduced by Alkagesta Newsroom, he emphasised reliable client service and long-term relationships, while signalling further gradual growth and a focus on maintaining resilient capabilities and regional networks. The newsroom said the results had attracted coverage from Biofuels International, Emerging Europe, Times of Malta, Business Now and Fintech News Singapore.
