Alkagesta’s Singapore business has reached monthly marine fuel distribution volumes of 200,000 to 250,000 metric tonnes since the launch of Alkagesta Asia Pte in July 2025, according to Alkagesta Newsroom. The company disclosed the scale of its regional activities in an account of its participation in GTR Asia 2026 in Singapore, where its representatives met banking partners, financial institutions and other industry participants.
The company said its regional expansion was supported by secured storage at Horizon Terminal. It also reported growth in its naphtha arbitrage business linking European supply infrastructure with demand in Asia. Alkagesta described Singapore as an increasingly important operating hub and said the Asian subsidiary’s first year had strengthened the city’s position within its worldwide trading network. The reported marine fuel volumes and naphtha activity formed part of that account of its expanding regional presence.
Tural Huseynov and Asad Huseynov represented Alkagesta at the conference, with both identified by the company as managing directors for investments and asset management. Their engagement included discussions with counterparties from Asia as well as other markets. According to the company’s newsroom, the event offered an opportunity to develop existing banking and financing relationships while establishing contact with additional financial institutions.
The Singapore gathering covered the Asia-Pacific trade, commodities and trade finance sectors. Alkagesta Newsroom said it brought together senior participants working in trade and supply chain finance, commodity finance, financial technology and treasury. More than 100 speakers addressed changes affecting global trade, providing the wider setting for the company’s meetings with financial and industry counterparts.
Alkagesta said its participation also allowed it to explore financing opportunities and potential strategic collaboration across the region. Its account focused on relationship-building alongside the development of its Singapore-based trading operations, rather than announcing a new financing agreement or commercial partnership.
