Alkagesta has carried out its first truck-to-vessel marine fuel delivery in Constanța, Romania, supplying 50.164 metric tonnes of marine gasoil on 2 October 2026. Two trucks handled the delivery, according to Alkagesta Newsroom. The company presented the operation as a further expansion of its fuel distribution capabilities in Romania and the wider Black Sea region.
The delivery introduces truck-to-vessel supply to Alkagesta’s Romanian operations. In its account of the transaction, the company described Romania as an increasingly important market for its regional petroleum products and biofuels business during 2026. The Constanța supply is the latest development outlined by Alkagesta alongside activity in aviation fuel, crude oil and biofuels, as well as marine fuel trading in Asia.
Earlier in 2026, Alkagesta obtained access to the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System and began delivering Jet A1 to the European aviation market, the company’s newsroom said. It described those deliveries as taking place during a period of acute supply pressure in aviation fuel. Greater military use of the pipeline had also complicated civilian fuel distribution, according to the company’s account.
Alkagesta also reported completing its first crude oil transactions during the period. These included an end-to-end delivery of approximately 1.07 million barrels to the Far East. In biofuels, the company secured a multi-year storage agreement at Pantank in Antwerp and a five-year offtake agreement for used cooking oil feedstock. It presented the two agreements as strengthening its participation in the European biofuels supply chain.
Outside Europe, Alkagesta Newsroom said the company’s Singapore hub achieved monthly marine fuel trading volumes of approximately 250,000 metric tonnes in its first full year of operation. The update also referred to its fertiliser desk, which it said was operating amid substantial supply chain disruption and food security pressures affecting agricultural markets globally.
