Alkagesta highlighted its sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) trading and supply capabilities following its participation in the SAF Global Summit 2026 in London. In an account published by Alkagesta Newsroom, the company linked its attendance to the increasing commercial role of SAF within its biofuels and sustainable fuels strategy, citing growing demand for certified supplies in European and global aviation markets.
The company said it holds ISCC and CORSIA certification, which enables it to trade and supply CORSIA-eligible SAF across multiple sustainability jurisdictions. Those credentials were among the capabilities it outlined alongside its access to emissions allowances and aviation fuel delivery infrastructure. The newsroom account presented these as elements of Alkagesta’s wider activities in the aviation fuels market.
Earlier in 2026, Alkagesta secured access to NATO’s Central Europe Pipeline System, known as CEPS, according to the company’s report. It said that access allows it to deliver jet fuel blended with SAF directly to airlines. Alkagesta described the development as reflecting its expanding aviation fuels presence and the compliance standards required of a supply chain partner.
The company also reported that it had recently gained access to EU ETS allowances. It said this complements its SAF and biofuels trading capabilities and broadens the range of carbon compliance obligations it can help clients address. The announcement discussed that access alongside its certified fuel offering, rather than as a separate business initiative.
According to Alkagesta Newsroom, the London summit attracted more than 1,000 senior executives spanning policy, energy, production, investment, airlines and original equipment manufacturers. Its four main areas of discussion covered policy frameworks, investment, production expansion and supply logistics, and technological innovation.
Business Development Manager Alex Yusifli and Operations Manager Alasgar Guliyev represented Alkagesta during the two-day programme. The company said they met industry participants at the event, which brought together businesses and policymakers from across the SAF value chain.
